About this job

1.Books, coordinates and reschedules patients appointments. Relays necessary messages to staff.
2.Verifies necessary information and records in the medical record.
3.Maintains and updates current information on physician's schedules ensuring that patients are scheduled properly and appointments are confirmed.
4.Answers telephone, screens calls, takes messages, and provides information.
5.Answers questions regarding patient appointments and testing.
6.Updates profile on all patients.
7.Assists with preparation of agendas, materials, meetings, etc.
8.Maintains strictest confidentiality.
9.Performs special projects as assigned.
The job holder must demonstrate current competencies applicable to the job position.
