We have a part-time opening for a Pick up Attendant.

Must be able to work various shifts per week and be available weekdays and weekends.

Now hiring Part Time Pick-Up Attendants

The primary purpose of this position is to ensure accurate and efficient Pick Up transactions while providing a high level of customer service to customers at designated Pick-Up locations.


This is a Part Time position which averages about 16-28 hours per week.You must be able to commit to work some day and some evening shifts each week.:

1st Shift: Approximately 7:00am - 3:00pm
2nd Shift: Approximately 2:00pm - 7:00pm

This position pays $10 per hour.

Responsibilities include:

Help Pick-Up driver unload orders and stage them inside Pick-Up location.
Assist Pick-Up driver in loading empty boxes from previous shift onto truck.
Responsible for manning Pick-Up location as the sole employee on site during shift.
Transport groceries in boxes from Pick-Up store, out to customer?s vehicle for pick up.
Place groceries into customer vehicle and review paperwork with them.
Collect coupons and any return items from customers and note on the paperwork.
Bring in empty boxes, ice packs and dry ice in Pick-Up store and stage for pick up from Driver.
Communicate with dispatch office or Customer service reps regarding any issues at the location.
Provide information to non-customers who may stop in looking for information.
Manage the customer pick ups by accurately punching into our Mobilecast system on a Nextel phone we will be provide at location to determine arrival and departure as delivery is completed.
Return and complete information that will be both electronically (billing information and shift recap) and physically (returned items/orders and customer paperwork) be sent out at the end of shift.
Practice Food Safety in all aspects of position.
Responsible for keeping work area and customer area clean and neat. Some snow shoveling may be required.
Responsible for the security (locking and unlocking depending on shift) of Pick-Up location.
Responsible for monitoring supplies at location and notifying supervisor or manager when more are needed.
Work closely with other Pick-Up attendants during shift turnover to communicate pertinent issues; May have to report to other Pick-Up locations on occasion as back-up.
REQUIREMENTS:

Must be at least 21 years old because you will ID any customers who order alcohol and record ID number on customer paperwork.
Customer service, delivery, warehouse or supervisory experience a plus.
Must be able to lift individual boxes of groceries weighing up to 50 lbs (sometimes overhead) and push and pull stacks of totes weighing up to 350 lbs (on racks).
Must be able to work independently. Very little direct Supervision will take place.
Must be able to stay focused and balance busy periods with slow periods and deal directly with customers.
Need to be able to move freely and lift boxes (using carts and racks) as well as lift individual boxes off of trucks and bags of groceries into customer vehicles.
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and physically work indoors and outdoors giving customers their orders.
Must be able to have basic computer knowledge (inputting spreadsheets and sending e-mails).
Must understand our policies and procedures as they pertain to customer interaction and what is expected of them.
May spend long amounts of time standing without an opportunity to sit down.
