CNC Programmer - Full-time / Part-time

Must haves:
- CNC Programming experience using Gibbs Cam or similar software (Master Cam)
- Ability to write/create and troubleshoot programming
- 5+ years of experience programming
- Estimating experience - hours needed/hours worked, materials needed, machine times, calling vendors to obtain quotes for materials as well.
- 2+ years of experience estimating
- High school diploma / GED
- Machine shop / fabrication shop background
- Strong communication skills - candidate will be interacting with other machinists / others at SMS, vendors, customers, etc.
- Flexibility - daily responsibilities and priorites may vary, ability to adapt to change and hands on ability with machines (when needed)
- Read and interpret shop drawings / production orders / RFQ

Preferred:
- Machining Certifications
- Microsoft office suite
- SAP / software used to track jobs, order materials, generate quotes, order entry, etc. They use a business system (believe it is called global shops)
