Die Maintenance - Full-time / Part-time

The die maintenance position will be responsible for dismantling, repairing, or replacing parts of damaged dies and fixtures, fit and assemble parts, and test repaired dies for proper operation. Duties include, but not limited to:
- verifying conformance of dies to specs
- operate cranes safely to remove/relocate dies to work areas or equipment
- establish and maintain an effective preventative maintenance program
- prepare sketches for machining tool details
- perform basic layout inspections of both tooling and manufactured components in press
- maintain safety
- assist production to ensure proper tool function and troubleshoot press lines
- other reasonable requests by Die Maintenance Group Leader

Candidates must be competent in all tool room machining to close tolerances. They will be working independently, and also in a team function for larger jobs. They will be responsible for troubleshooting and giving timelines for resolution.
