About this job
We have an amazing short term assignment with one of the largest mail service companies in the United States. Our client is extremely busy during the Holiday season and needs all the help they can get for a short 2-3 week period. Position intails general warehouse duties such as loading, unloading, and even assisting in delivering of packages to residential and commerical locations. Position will begin December 14th and continue into the holiday season. This is a great opportunity to earn some extra income during the holiday season and work a lot of overtime.
Details:
Location:Distribution center is in Oakland, CA near the OAK Aiport
Start time: 6AM- 3/4PM in the afternoon
Pay per standard hours: $14/hr
Pay per overtime hours: $21/hr

* Unload packages safely and efficiently from truck deliveries and place on belt.
* Sort packages according to number and place in appropriate area for drivers in a timely manner.
* Move miss-sorted packages to correct belt as required.
* Check belts for packages jams and stray packages for sort completeness.
* Hands-on consolidation and distribution of packages through loading and unloading
* Load audit vans
* Quality Assurance
* Check production/service numbers daily
* Sorting packages by zip code, street number and trucks for proper placement on vans.
* Sorting and stacking home delivery packages by route and sequence number for contractors
