STAFFMARK IS HIRING, WITH AN IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR A CLASS B DRIVER!
Staffmark is the PNW's leader in driver staffing and many companies look to Staffmark when they need to find the best drivers. This is a temp-to-hire position working for our customer in Medford. You will be hired by Staffmark to work through a probation period, and upon successful completion of the probation our customer will hire the driver as their employee. Staffmark is here to provide a foot-in-the-door opportunity to be hired by one of the largest 3rd party logistics providers in the US.
Drivers will run local and regional delivery routes of electronics products. Routes are home daily. Freight is palletized and loading & unloading / ramp work required with a pallet jack. Occasional manual breakdown and handtruck work is required.
No stocking or product rotation required, deliveries are to distributors.
Drivers work M- F, morning shifts starting approx. 0730, though times can vary based on the route.
Drivers may drive as far as Reno, NV in all weather conditions, so experience in winter weather driving is highly desired.
To be considered for the position the following requirements must be met:
1 year of verifiable recent Class B driving experience in a freight delivery position, no exceptions! Applicants that only have passenger transport experience cannot be considered. For 1 year experience - no more than one moving violation, and no accidents, are allowed within the previous 3 years.
2 years experience with no more than 2 incidents, tickets and/or accidents, are allowed in the last 3 years.
Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.
