Personal Assistant - Frederick, MD Provide support to homeowners of a Frederick, MD residence and business; helping them organize their schedules and provide scheduling support for their home and business. Successful candidates will be able to work in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities. Must be organized, reliable, steadfast and flexible with your work schedule. Experience with home entertainment and event planning including catering and decorating details is preferred. Daily Tasks will include: * Handle busy personal and business calendars * Help manage and schedule other staff including the housekeeper * Schedule routine maintenance (HVAC, cleaning, automobiles, etc.) * Research and Book travel reservations * Maintain Calendar of Events and RSVP to social engagements * Prepare and help to manage all in-home entertaining events and gatherings * Keep household accessories and products up to date * Personal Shopping and returns as necessary * Answer calls, run errands, and work with various organizations and individuals * Light bookkeeping of household budget items Requirements: 5+years of experience as a personal assistant with strong event planning skills is required. Must have a high level of integrity and professionalism to handle confidential matters and records that are of a personal nature. Comfortable taking care of family pets. Excellent analytical, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills are necessary. Having the ability to multitask, schedule and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines is very important in this role. Characteristics desired: Professional, quick learner, energetic, mature, personable, approachable, accommodating, superior work ethic, and comfortable with making decisions and working independently as needed.
