Seeking experienced and knoweldgable Machine Maintenance candidates who are looking to be part of a continually growing, estabslished, industry leading manufacturer, to join our growing 2nd and 3rd shift team! The Maintenance Technician will perform all assigned electrical, mechanical, and utility work to install, repair and maintain the production equipment. The Maintenance Technician will also assist IT in installing, testing, and configuring new workstations, peripheral equipment, and software.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following

  • Perform maintenance and repairs of production support equipment and assembly fixtures.
  • Diagnose, repair and maintain all equipment associated with the process, including: PLCs, instrumentation.
  • Remove and install equipment as needed for safety and process reliability.
  • Work with operations to accomplish all tasks in a safe and timely manner.
  • Complete all maintenance service requests as assigned, including any PM or PDM tasks.
  • Perform problem analysis & resolution (5ps, TTRs, etc.).
  • Communicate projects and issues with engineers/supervisor.
  • Read and understand equipment drawings/schematics in order to provide maintenance support.
  • Help maintain equipment manual and drawing changes.
  • Understands and assists manufacturing engineering with the modification of assembly procedures and fixtures.
  • Supports and contributes to continuous improvements activities.
  • Assists manufacturing engineering with the investigation of yield problems (when related to production equipment).
  • Works under minimal direct supervision.

Essential Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Associates Degree in Electronics or equivalent technical field.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in electro-mechanical and/or electronics manufacturing support.
  • Ability to read various types of drawings (Equipment Controls, Part drawings).
  • Industrial Controls Experience (Electrical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, PLC's, MMI's Robotics, etc.).
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong ability to independently perform work assignments given minimal direction and instruction.
  • Strong team player.
  • Ability to work well with others.
