The purpose of this position is to process requests for data by adding and correcting entries into a specific database or computer application.
 Responsibilities may include the following: Keeping track of received data and source documents.
Compiling, sorting, interpreting and verifying data to be entered.
Contacting prepares of source documents to resolve questions, inconsistencies or missing data.
Enters alphabetic, numeric data for source documents into a computer following the format displayed on the screen.
May review error reports and enter corrections into computer. File and route source documents after entry as appropriate.
Respond to inquiries regarding entered data.
Communicate with peers, members & business segment liaisons regarding referrals via phone/email. Direct phone-based customer interaction to answer and resolve a wide variety of inquiries.
Maintains timely, accurate documentation for all appropriate transactions.
Makes corrections and adjustments.
Consistently meets established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards.
 Keeps management abreast of all outstanding issues.
Adapts procedures, processes, and techniques to meet the more complex position requirements.
Participates in load balancing.
Addresses special (ad-hoc) projects as appropriate.
Seeks involvement in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Ensures quality customer service for internal and external customers.
Specific Duties:

Data entry of well visit forms

Expected to meet metrics of processing 30 forms an hourCollaborate with peers and business liaisons on coordination of referrals

Requirements

Required Qualifications: 

High school education/GED  or 2+ years equivalent work experience
1 + years of customer service experience analyzing and solving customer problems
1 + year of experience in an office setting environment using the computer as the primary instrument to perform job duties
Intermediate proficiency with computers and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications
Advanced knowledge of Eligibility processes, practices and concepts.
Authorization to work in the United States
Available to work 40 hours per week anytime within the operating hours of the site 7am - 9pm and overtime as business needs dictate 
Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrates customer education and negotiation skills
Basic knowledge of managed care industry preferred
Demonstrates basic analytical skills.

Ability to navigate a computer while on the phone
Ability to multi-task, this includes ability to understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product
Ability to remain focused and productive each day though tasks may be repetitive
Willing to work and contribute in a team environment.

Ability to balance and prioritize multiple tasks
