Positions in this function conduct and manage outcomes of various studies that include analyzing, reviewing, forecasting, trending, and presenting information for operational and business planning. They support short and long term operational/strategic business activities - by developing, enhancing and maintaining operational information and models. They also develop and implement effective/strategic business solutions through research and analysis of data and business processes.
Primary Responsibilities:
Understand the objective for each key program initiative
Take concept and put it into practice
Understand the issue or need and provide a solution to meet the need with minimal direction
Drives the implementation of new or improved processes and solutions as needed; this can include scheduling meetings, documentation and training
Responsible for determining best solution of concepts into processes
Coordinate testing and post production validation
Articulate business needs and have an overall understanding of the process so that information can be shared
Responsible for problem solving situations that may fall outside of the traditional support provided
Understand the core reasons and provide a plan for resolution
Understand the project design and implementation plan to be able to conceptualize and put into practice
Assist with implementation and support initiatives by understanding project management basics which would include requirements, designs, testing and execution
Work collaboratively and influence across a matrix environment
Problem solve/research issues independently to completion
Lead coach/guide others, outlines the issues and provide recommendations

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Health Administration or equivalent work experience
5+ years of experience with project methodology (requirements, design, development, test and implementation)
10+ years of work experience in a corporate setting
8+ years of health care experience working with claims data and medical codes
5+ years of Strategic experience
5+ Experience in analysis of business process and workflow and providing an evaluation, benchmark and/or process improvement recommendations for large initiatives
Experience in analysis of business process and workflow and providing an evaluation, benchmark and/or process improvement recommendations - ADVANCED Proficiency Level
Ability to problem solve including multiple priorities - ADVANCED Proficiency Level
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills - ADVANCED Proficiency Level
