Senior Application Support Analyst - Multiple Locations

Support incidents, problems, enhancements, and projects for Facets platform
Evaluate business requirements and prepare the detailed functional and technical specifications that follow project guidelines
Act as the liaison between Business and Systems Analysts, Developers and project management groups
Present and evaluate design solutions objectively and facilitate conflict resolution
Evaluate business requirements and prepare the detailed functional and technical specifications that follow project guidelines
Ensure IT deliverables align with business requirements with measurable results
Uses Facets configuration, business knowledge and effective communication skills to facilitate and elicit requirements for projects
Provide subject matter expertise in Claims Business Systems Analysis and recommendations in assessing software projects and initiatives to support and enhance systems
Work closely with the stakeholders and business leaders to demonstrate the highest levels of customer service, communication, productivity, and professionalism
Develops business process artifacts (configuration design documents, process flow, work state diagrams, etc.) as they pertain to multiple functional areas
Troubleshoots configuration and technical issues and identifies modifications needed to meet changing user and regulatory requirements
Assists with the analysis and documentation of current state and future state

Required Qualifications:

5 years of experience in Healthcare Systems Analysis or IT Development
8 years of experience in IT working with all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
5 years of experience translating business requirements into a detailed system specification
5 years of Relational Database experience (Oracle or similar)
Preferred Qualifications:

Technical understanding of Facets architecture
Understanding of Facets database model
2+ years of experience with Facets components including Interactive Front-end, Batch server, HIPAA Gateway, Letter sever, WorkFlow and FXI
Knowledge in Enterprise Server operating system platforms including Microsoft Windows (64 bit), Unix, Linux and Citrix
Intermediate level of skill with MS Visio and MS office suite of applications
Intermediate SQL experience
Basic level of UNIX command skills
Basic understanding of WebSphere server
