About this job
I need a male adult to serve as an aide for my 25-year-old autistic son. The position is Monday-Thursday, from 2 p.m. to 9/10 p.m. and consists of:
1. Meeting his bus
2. Giving him a snack/water
3. Warming up his dinner
4. Giving him his meds (4 pills) at about 7 p.m.
5. Watching TV and keeping him company
He is a very compliant and friendly person but does not speak; however, he does understand. I am seeking a compassionate "pal" for him. Sometimes I work past 9 so I need someone who is flexible and might have to stay until 10.
