Are you a skilled and experienced Machinist? Then we are looking for candidates like you to come and work for us! We are hiring for a 2nd Shift Machinist position paying $15.00-17.00 per hour depending on experience. If you are interested please respond to this ad with your resume and contact information.
Job Duties:
- Operating Vertical Mills, Lathes, Horizontal Manual Mill, and Operate CNC equipment
- Must be able to program and operate almost any kind of industrial machine
- Must be able to read a blueprint, drawings, manuals, and understand any written or verbal directions
- Must be able to measure and mark detentions according to specifications
- Must be able to detect malfunctions of the machines in their early stages and report to the operations manager
- Understand production requirements, scheduling and reporting
Job Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50-70 pounds
- Preferred candidates will have a 2 year Machine Tools degree
- Must have a high school diploma
- Must be able to bend, twist, reach, stoop, and grab
- Must be able to withstand loud environments
- Must be able to work 100% on the floor pushing, pulling, operation a forklift or overhead crane
