Technology Finance Manager
12 month contract

REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field
2 years' additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Advanced level degree or accounting certification may be considered in lieu of 1 year experience
8+ years' experience in financial reporting, financial planning, accounting, strategic planning and annual budgeting
Attention to detail in the development of management quality reporting and analytics for senior management personnel
Ability to work collaboratively within a large organization
Ability to influence decision makers within a large organization
Proven strong financial analysis skills; corporate finance, accounting, and investment valuation skills
Superior written and oral presentation skills; ability to communicate and present to senior management (PowerPoint proficient)
Strong proficiency with financial analysis tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Data Warehouse tools, and Business Intelligence tools
Problem structuring and strategic problem solving skills

PREFERRED:
MBA, CPA or CMA
Experience in a Fortune 500 consumer products or other multi-national firm
Experience with SAP GL and Business Warehouse Query (BEx)
Experience in investment banking, management consulting, or financial planning and analysis at a large corporation

OVERVIEW:
As our Technology Finance Manager, you will work with the Director of the group to own and drive the finance support for the Technology Applications Services group. The finance functional support will include project accounting, rate based costing, forecasting, budgeting, financial reporting, capex planning, and month end close activities. The finance business partnering support will include partnering with senior leaders in the technology support and maintenance functions for decision scenario analysis, identifying risks and opportunities, investment business case preparation, and strategic initiative finance support. Finance initiatives will include designing and implementing a model for technology services cost frameworks with cost accounting and business intelligence tools.

To accomplish this, you will participate in functional discussions and initiatives across operating groups and provide input into business unit forecasting and planning. You will develop partnerships that leverage resources and improve business unit responsiveness; prepare and distribute timely and insightful financial analysis of relevant information to determine progress against strategic plan, budget, forecast, and to support decision making. You will actively interpret and review financial results with business managers, including trends/issues and opportunities, to drive actionable responses.

You will coordinate efforts for finance support across our Tech Finance team and engage with business operations, accounting, technology leadership and program managers, and other stakeholders.
