About this job

Our client is dedicated to providing a person-centered therapeutic rehabilitation journey to all individuals and their families with mental illness, chemical dependency and/or brain injuries.

The Human Resources Department has an urgent opening with in their team of 5. The current Training and Development Specialist has put in their notice and will be exiting on 12/18. Office hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm.

The purpose of the Training and Development Specialist is to assess, design, develop, implement, and evaluate training needs to ensure compliance with licensing requirements as well as county, state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities Include:
Utilizing organization tracking tools to manage employee expertise development, compliance, and regulatory needs.
Evaluating and surveying each training session for the purpose of improvement.
Facilitating the training calendar detailing educational opportunities for new hires and staff throughout the organization.
Partnering with the Training and Quality Coordinator to ensure organizational, group, and individual training quality and coordination.
Setting up new employees and deleting terminated employees in the LMS.
Monitoring and recording the completion of training courses for both initial and ongoing training.
Creating and conducting methodologies for data collection, analysis, and retention for the purpose of organizational, group, and individual development.
Reporting on performance, compliance, and regulation to internal customers.
Providing progress reports and consult with internal customers on organizational, group, and individual needs.
Utilizing the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate) training and performance system to develop expertise for the purpose of improving performance and maintaining compliance with licensing regulations.
Designing and developing pilot-test trainings to evaluate initial outcomes for effectiveness.
Designing lesson plans for each position within the organization.

Qualificiations

BS Degree
1+ year of recent experience with Training and Development
1+ year of experience with electronic learning system

Work Environment

Services Adolescent Chemical Dependency Services, Home Based Mental Health, Clinic Based Mental Health, Dual Disorder Treatment, Behavior Analyst Services and Independent Living Skills. The company size is 200 and growing, the dress code is business casual.
