Join us and start doing your life's best work.(sm)  Purpose of Job This role is analyst(s) for the Security Incident Response Team.  As the team has developed into a 24/7 365 operation, we require strong individual contributors that will investigate, analyze and contain security incidents. Responsibilities:Manage security events and incidents via all intake mechanisms Provide security consultation to IT and business Remediate security control gaps Accomplish security related project goals identified via security events  Participate in escalated events and manage security incident War Rooms  Improve process and intake taxonomy Promote teamwork across the broader IRM and Cyber Defense Organization Participate in documentation review and continuous operational improvement Competencies and Best Practice for High Performers  Self-motivated individual Ability to manage individual tasks and projects  Process oriented Strong communication skills Ability to explain complex technical problems to a non-technical audience Impeccable time management skills 

Requirements

Qualifications  Strong planning and problem-solving skills 2 years of IT Experience 6 months to a year of IT Security or Cyber Security experience  Previous incident management exposer Ability to work night or afternoon shift (weekdays and weekends) Technology Careers with Optum.
