End User Technology Services - Operations Delivery has over 300 resources across the globe and offices worldwide.
 
 The Senior Technology Support Analyst will work incidents that were recently called into our help desk using our HP ticketing system. They will troubleshoot the user’s desktop computer problems with remote control tools, determine root cause and using knowledge management tool resolve the issue.
 
Primary Responsibilities:

Provide technical support for employees and computer hardware at UnitedHealth Group
Provide support for Deployment & Migration type activities
Diagnosis of issue severity and proper troubleshooting of incident
Incident resolution using knowledge management tool and documented processes and procedures
Experience in providing superior service-oriented desktop support
Facilitate meetings and present details around current deployment and migration activities
Investigate trends with deployments and migrations to determine incident root cause and create support knowledge based on these findings
Enjoys challenging troubleshooting situations and pays attention to details
Must be a self-starter and able to work independently while being part of a decentralized team
 

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

High School education and Technical certificate qualification or higher
3+ years’ experience in desktop support, with focus on remote support tools                             
1+ years’ experience in use of systems management tools such as Altiris
Solid troubleshooting skills, able to find the root cause of issues and provide a solution
Superior customer service skills, able to interact with a wide range of customers
Ability to work on multiple issues or projects concurrently
 Preferred Qualifications:

Information Technology Certificates.
