As part of this group, you will predominantly be involved in architecting and designing data warehouse solutions. You will be a primary contributor in developing, testing and deploying key data warehouses, data marts and will be working with cutting edge technology. This role will prepare you for significant career growth.
 
The MicroStrategy Architect for the business intelligence area will require architectural knowledge in addition to data analytics experience in order to be able to add value to projects and understand the complexity of the MicroStrategy environment.
 
The technical components now involve multiple application layers and technologies including web technologies, an application layer with a specialized data store or cube and back-end data warehouse layers. Due to the current performance challenges and the large size of OptumRx data warehouse, these skills are essential and require a more senior level resource.
 
The MicroStrategy Architect would need to have dashboard and general report building experience, general business intelligence experience, understanding of SQL and database experience, infrastructure and application server experience. Also needs to have resource management skills and project estimation experience and be able to communicate effective with business users who have senior data analytics experience.
 
Primary Responsibilities:

Gather and analyze business requirements
Architect and design Data Warehouse infrastructure and solutions
Develop technical specifications and design documents
Develop, enhance, and integrate Data Warehouses/Data Marts and Business Intelligence Solutions
Test Data Warehouses/Data Marts
Deploy and maintain Data Warehouses/Data Marts
Position will office from Santa Ana, CA or Eden Prairie, MN.

Required Qualifications:

3+ years of MicroStrategy project design experience
3+ years of SQL experience
1+ years of Netezza experience
Application Architect experience
1+ year technical leadership and team leadership experience
General business intelligence experience
General data warehouse experience
Strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:

MicroStrategy Certification
Web security experience
Mobile technologies experience
Agile experience
