Timing Belt Fabrication Operator Level III - Manual Machinist

* Performs production in accordance with proper procedures and methods of work instructions

Operate and set up lathes and bridgeports
* Develops and refines methods and practices for manufacturing products where methods and operations are not fully defined
* Performs frequent set ups and product changes to support manufacturing requirements
* Sees that certain controls, such as thickness, length, and width checks are accomplished and documented in accordance with established procedures
* Regularly inspects the quality of the work produced
* Processes daily paperwork to support Epicor requirements
* Performs preventive maintenance of the fabrication equipment as required
* Assists Engineering on special projects to develop new processes, equipment, and/or product.
* Responsible for training new employees assigned to their work cell
* Responsible for maintaining high standards of safety and housekeeping for self and others
* Alerts supervisor of needs and problems
* Performs other duties as required by management

Work from work order and machine belts.
Run machines
1 mill drill, bridgeport, lathe, 2 lamination machines and 2 electronic welders
