work.SM Recovery/Resolution Analyst is responsible for
managing prospective claims savings to ensure cost avoidance financial goals
are met.  The COB Recovery/Resolution Analyst
high level focus is on the financial impact / cost savings to UHG, efficiency
of COB processes, and compliance with state and federal requirements.Primary Responsibilities: Lead and oversee projects to improve the
identification and use of COB information for managing claim costs.Monitor vendor and state files  to ensure other coverage information is loaded
timely and accurately.Provide critical information about COB
processes, expectations, etc. necessary for COB vendors to perform as expected.Represent department in IT and business
initiatives;Research COB encounter rejectsResearch cost avoidance  reconciliation issuesResearch escalated COB issues and concerns, to
identify root causes of problems or explain misinterpretations of COB outcomesPerform regular audits of COB claims Perform regular audits of COB membersSeek out and oversee project opportunities to
drive the identification of new COB information and the improvement of COB
processes.Take leadership and ownership of existing  projects to maximize COB cost avoidanceWork collaboratively with COB SMEs, operational
teams and management, health plan representatives, and other external and
internal partners.Work with internal operational teams to
monitor  inventory and processes to load
COB recordsPerform vendor and state file reconciliation
auditData EntryCOB data verification

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

1+ year experience in Business Analysis 1+ year experience in Claims Auditing 2+ years Claims experienceBachelor's Degree or High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years experience
in a project management, business analysis or a claims management role.

Preferred Qualifications:

Medicaid/Medicare claims
experience
