REM Woodvale is seeking a full-time Program Coordinator, starting at $13.00 an hour, to assist adults with intellectual and development disabilities with our In Home/Alternative Services Program based in Owatonna. We offer a supportive team environment and flexible schedules to complement our benefits package and non-traditional benefits.

By joining our team as a Program Coordinator (PC), you will work with individuals with a range of challenges including intellectual and developmental disabilities. REM Woodvale offers residential services with supports tailored to the needs of each individual, including assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation and planning; medication administration; and personal cares. Program Coordinators facilitate the implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISP) and participate in a range of administrative duties including staff hiring, training, scheduling and oversight. PCs may also facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings in their community or providing transportation to work or other activities. In addition, PCs support therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with clinical staff to encourage individuals to be as independent as possible and enhance the quality of life for those we support.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Minimum one-year experience in human services, healthcare or related field preferred
  • Successful clearance of local and/or state background checks
  • Valid driver's license in good standing
  • Car registration and vehicle insurance required
