The Dining Room Manager oversees the service of the Mural Dining Room, with direct reports including hosts, bussers, servers, and dish expeditors, while maintaining a positive and professional rapport with all staff and property guests.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conduct initial and continuous service training of all Mural Room personnel ensuring all company policies, procedures, service standards, Point of Sale operations, and assigned duties are performed correctly and efficiently.
  • Work closely with the Reservations Manager and with our Conference Planning Manager to review all tour groups, convention group and private group reservations.
  • Hold daily Pre Shift meetings with the service staff, and additionally organize staff sales incentives to encourage up-selling.
  • Ensure prompt, accurate service with anticipation of and compliance with all guests’ needs, assisting directly with food and beverage service as necessary.
  • Implement the opening and closing procedures of the Mural Room.
  • Responsible for the cleanliness of the Mural Dining Room and proper functioning of equipment.
  • Handle employee and guest issues as they arise, following all policies and holding employees accountable to the policies.
  • Perform basic management functions (manage staff, discipline staff, schedule employees, complete payroll etc.)

The “must haves” for this position include:

  • Food and Beverage Supervisory/Management Experience
  • Knowledge of Fine Dining
  • Knowledge of wine and beverage service
  • Previous Point of Sale experience
  • Excellent people skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work long hours and varied shifts
  • Extremely organized

We prefer that you additionally have the following skills / experience, but it is not required:

  • TIPS certified
  • Cash handling experience

Our season is typically May through October.
