Across those groups are teams focused on clinical operations, process improvement projects, data analytics, claims, systems and platform effectiveness, and project management. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:-Project management: ownership/support of projects in an effort to more effectively manage the business-Conducting analysis/reporting for operations projects relating to efficiencies, project selection, program level metrics-Process improvement projects: handling projects for both the claims groups and/or our network team-Applying technology solutions to solve operational problems-Working across functions to accomplish goals of the operations-Process documentation and mapping

-Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Management, Finance, Accounting, or related business field from an accredited college/university. Junior class level preferred. -Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college/university during the duration of the internship. Internships are not intended for graduating seniors. -Minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA-Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered)-Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite preferred UnitedHealth Group is working to create the health care system of tomorrow.
