POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for maintaining an orderly flow of product, vendors, and team members into and out of the backgroom receiving area of the store.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: (Essential Duties and Responsibilities)
- Maintains an orderly flow of product, vendors, and team members into and out of the receiving area
- Verifies incoming product for accurate prices and quantities
- Writes credits when appropriate
- Contacts warehouses to deliver shortages and log numbers for credit
- Records receiving in receiver log
- Checks all vendors exiting the rear of the store
- Monitors and controls storage in the receiving area
- Controls cardboard and garbage disposal
- Maintains a neat, clean backroom and receiving dock
- Performs other duties as required by management
