Mig Welder - Full-time

We have a full-time opening for a Welder/Fabricator.

Must be able to work at least 4 (10 hour)  shifts per week.

• Must have 1 or more years experience.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Background check required.

Wage: $12-$15 an hour

Job Summary:

 Weld or Fabricate stell grating and/or aluminum per requirements. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Reads all job/work order requirements and blue prints to be sure the information is correct and matches, prior to performing any work.

Fabricates or welds steel grating pieces, treads, or aluminum according to specifications.

Ability to work independently with little supervision

Possesses ability to learn crane operations for successful removal of material with minimal to no bumping, resulting in damage to spools.

Performs TPM, 3S and othe Lean activities to maintaining equipment in goo condition and maintaining workplace organization and cleanliness.

Meets or exceeds the product quality and productivity expectations by monitoring equipment and process performance and performing required material inspections. 

Assures self and others working at or near, including visitors are safe and acting in a safe manner. 

Works with supervisor in a helpful, cooperative manner, working the hours required to perform the job including overtime and even with little notice to get the job done and meet customer delivery and quality expectations. 

Performs other duties as required by supervision

Inspects product to verify conformance to specifications

Maintains time and production records.
