As a Hotel Guest Service Representative, you will provide friendly and responsive front desk service to our guests, while also ensuring that guest payments are collected and processed in a reliable and timely manner. You will also greet our guests, assist them with check-ins and check-outs, and you will ensure that all service you provide is consistently prompt and courteous and designed to meet our high standards of quality to ensure guest satisfaction and repeat business.

Your specific duties in this role will include:

Organizing, confirming, processing, and conducting all guest check-ins/check-outs, room reservations, requests, changes, and cancellations Securing payments as well as verifying and adjusting billing Activating and filing room keys Processing all guest requests and relaying messages Printing contingency lists to have a record of all guests in case of emergency Identifying and explaining room features to guests and supplying guests with directions and information regarding property amenities, services, and hours of operation, and local areas of interest Ensuring that any outstanding requests or problems from the previous day receive priority and are resolved Running and reviewing daily reports/logs Completing designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system Accepting and recording wake-up call requests and delivering them to appropriate department Counting bank at beginning and end of shift and securing bank at end of shift Processing all payment types, adjustment vouchers, paid-outs, correction vouchers, and miscellaneous charges Notifying Loss Prevention/Security of any guest reports of theft.

We are looking for a warm and outgoing Hotel Guest Service Representative with a strong work ethic and a firm commitment to providing the best possible customer service and guest experience. It is also important that you have excellent communication, interpersonal and active listening skills as well as the ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers using patience, tact and diplomacy as necessary.

Specific qualifications for the role include:

High school diploma or GED Prior hospitality experience, preferred Knowledge of accounting operations to include all aspects such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, etc. Sufficient calculator skills to prepare moderately complex mathematical calculations without error Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor Strong English language skills.
