Providence is calling a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to Providence Mount St. Vincent in West Seattle, WA.
This is an on-call, variable shift position to float throughout the various floors in skilled nursing.
We are seeking a compassionate and caring nurse to provide safe and reliable nursing care to the residents who live in our skilled nursing facility.
In this position you will:
Act as an advocate for patients in maintaining choice, independence, privacy, dignity and security
Assist in providing care and implementing delegated activities of the nursing plan or as directed by the nurse leader on duty
Have responsibility for providing support and assistance to sub-acute patients and long term care residents, which may include those with Alzheimer's and Dementia
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program
Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in Washington State
Current CPR certification or obtain within 30 days of employment
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
At least one year of nursing experience
Prior patient care experience in sub-acute, long term care and/or with Alzheimer's or Dementia patients
