Position: Photo Editor (3 Month Temp)
Department: Global Creative
Reports to: Production Manager

FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Location: 3880 N Mission Los Angeles, CA 90031
Department Summary: Forever 21 is seeking an innovative, energetic, creative and passionate Photo Editor to join our dynamic Global Creative team!
Job Purpose: The Photo Editor will be responsible for ensuring final image selections are appropriate for E-Commerce use.
Deliverables:
* Select images for use on the web
* Markup images with notes for retouching
* Review images after retouching to identify any errors or additional work needed
* Discuss with Photographers any changes that should be made on set
* Facilitate communication between Photographers, Stylists, Merchandisers, and Retouchers
* Approve all final image selections for E-Commerce use
Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:
* BFA in Photography, Illustration, Graphic Design, or equivalent experience required
* Must have 1-2 years of professional experience in image retouching, editing, andor photography
* Fashion retail and E-Commerce experience preferred
* Must have clear understanding of proper image formatting, editing, and enhancing techniques
* Strong knowledge of Photo editing software including Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Bridge required
* Capture One experience a plus
* Must have a keen eye for fashionmodel photography as well as still life product photography
