Requirements

Position Title:         Assistant Manager

Supervisors Title:   General Manager

Primary Purpose and Function

To assist General Manager in achieving goals related to sales, costs, profits, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness and sanitation.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Use effective measures to control the cost of goods.
  • Increase sales by providing a great product along with great customer service
  • Train on and enforce all E.G.G. requirements and guidelines.
  • Conduct RER’s outside of the store.
  • Order and control inventory by forecasting and referring to past data.
  • This position will directly supervise 15-50 employees.
  • Ensure a clean, organized, restaurant, prepared to deliver quality food and Encore service.
  • Promote and reflect a positive work environment.
  • Ensure all menu items are consistently prepared and served according to Zaxby’s standards.
  • Provide leadership by creating excitement, enthusiasm, a positive mental attitude and commitment toward Company objectives. Create an Encore Environment.
  • Work lunch, dinner and weekends monitoring quality of food and service.
  • Keep neat, accurate records and current records providing historical data to plan for increased sales and profits.
  • Maintain an attitude of flexibility that allows performance above and beyond the parameters of this position.
  • Are committed to restaurant and organizational goals.
  • Have excellent Communication Skills.

 Knowledge and Skills

  • Ability to demonstrate strong customer service skills.
  • Competent in MS Office Products, and efficient in email and internet applications.
  • High accuracy in work, attention to detail.
  • High School Diploma or equivalency required.
  • The ability to travel if requested. – Reliable Transportation
  • Age – Must be at Least 18 years of Age.
  • Citizenship – Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be flexible to work at multiple work locations
  • A minimum of one year experience managing people in a restaurant environment required.

Working Conditions

  • Office environment; work with computer and office equipment

Restaurant environment; work with advanced kitchen and front-of-house operational equipment; hazardous conditions
