this function are responsible for preparing, processing and maintaining
new member or group enrollments. Positions may load new member or group
data into the enrollment database & update the database with
changes. Positions may also respond to member eligibility or group
questions & verify enrollment status. Positions may work with
various types of member correspondence. Positions may also be
responsible for reconciling eligibility discrepancies, analyzing
transactional data & submitting retroactive eligibility changes.
Positions may also be responsible for inventory control of member and
group transactions.Primary Responsibilities:Loading new member or group data into the enrollment database & update the database with changesResponding to member eligibility or group questions & verify enrollment statusWorking with various types of member correspondenceReconciling eligibility discrepancies, analyzing transactional data & submitting retroactive eligibility changesInventory control of member and group transactionsWorking with underwriters and brokers and do the full enrollment process from inquiries to quotesWork is frequently completed without established proceduresWorks independentlyMay act as a resource for others May coordinate others activitiesExtensive work experience within own function.Work is frequently completed without established procedures.Works independently.May act as a resource for others. May coordinate others activities. These positions include one located in office in CA and one AZ telecommute position. 

Requirements

Requirements:High school diploma or GED.2+ years of experience in an office setting environment using the telephone and computer as the primary instruments to perform job duties is required.Familiarity with Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system is required.Intermediate level MS Excel knowledge is required.Must be able to work the hours of 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday. Must be willing to work overtime as needed.Preferred Qualifications:Experience reading and constructing flat files.                                                Experience utilizing UNET/NICE/IA software is preferred.                                                    Previous healthcare insurance experience.Previous experience working with Enrollment/Eligibility software is preferred.Experience with data analysis is preferred.BA/BS Degree.Physical Requirements and Work Environment:Frequent speaking, listening using a headset, sitting, use of hands/fingers across keyboard or mouse, handling other objects, long periods working at a computer Service center environment with moderate noise level due to Representatives talking, computers, printers, and floor activityCareers with UnitedHealthcare.
