Dovetail’s clinical care center is focused on providing extraordinary patient care. Our delivery model must be scalable to support our growth and accountable to deliver high quality outcomes.  The Clinical Trainer is key to helping achieve these goals. The Clinical Trainer, reporting to the Director of Clinical Nursing Services, will conduct training programs for new and existing clinical staff members. This position is primarily a field based position.
Primary Responsibilities:


Conduct new hire training classes for clinicians to ensure seamless transition to field practice (onsite training as well as field training)
Conduct training classes for existing staff to ensure quality standards are being maintained
Act as clinical mentor to ensure quality of clinical documentation
Collaborate with clinical team to deliver training on:

clinical content
improving clinical outcomes
quality measures
operational efficiency
consistent, quality results
DHMS proficiency
clinical program accuracy
Participate in program implementation process to define requirements, provide clinical and operational insight and gain knowledge essential to curriculum development and education efforts as needed
Establish effective education programs to support internal professional development
Lead training initiatives with clients as part of our future expansion efforts
Establish tracking and reporting processes to ensure all training related activities and results are documented and information is distributed appropriately
Carry a small patient case load to remain current with our contractual offerings
Support other corporate initiatives and activities as needed

Requirements

Required Qualifications:


Active RN license in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Nursing

Must be an RN in MA

5 - 7 years clinical experience in an acute care setting

CPR certification required upon hire

Excellent presentation and communication skills

Proficiency using MS Office applications

High level of comfort with technology

Willingness to travel to train field clinicians locally and nationally approximately 50 - 75%

Multiple licensure in states of business may be required
Preferred Qualifications:

CCM certification
Experience in training and / or leadership
Self - starter passionate about providing extraordinary patient care
Professional clinician expert at behavior change methodologies, critical thinking and patient care models
Enthusiastic professional comfortable working in fast paced, high performance culture
Experienced Trainer comfortable in both classroom and virtual environments coaching clinicians to success
Creative thinker able to identify gaps in learning and develop customized training solutions to meet the individual needs of the clinicians
Engaging personality with excellent communication skills and sensitivity toward different patient populations
Skilled professional willing to serve as a role model
