Responsible for the administrative support of the PA department and other areas of the Clinical Call center. This role will be primarily involved with the organizing of the paperwork, supporting tasks associated with the processing of PA requests and other crucial client requirements. Will be responsible for day to day organization of all pending paperwork and filing. Project a professional company image at all times.
 

Primary Responsibilities:

Responsible for data key entry of all faxed PA requests into Kofax, and ensuring all faxed requests are keyed into the system in a timely and accurate manner to help ensure client specific SLA are met in regards to turnaround time
Responsible for organizing, filing and scanning in any related PA documents into the RxAUTH system
Support the PA Management team in any additional administrative activities as determined necessary by the management team
Responsible for working as a team to meet all contractual PA obligations for specific clients in the Clinical Call Center
Maintains the confidentiality of protected member medical information at all times
Other assigned activities as determined by the prior authorization management team

Requirements


Required Qualifications:

Excellent oral and written communication skills a must.
Strong Administrative skills a must, such as typing, filing, organization and time management.
Ability to adapt to a changing work environment including scheduling flexibility with the ability to work evening and weekend hours
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience with third party medical/prescription payment and/or claims adjudication systems
Preferred Qualifications:

Retail or any other pharmacy technician experience
PBM call center or prior auth call center experience
Previous data entry experience
