As a Business Process Consultant you would be responsible for end-to-end business process activities - creating, controlling and improving business processes.
 
The Business Process Consultant for Optum Shared Service Customer Care's Consumer Experience department in the Process Management team supporting Admin Call Services will work on migration processes and projects relating to call/contact center operations (includes chat and email) functionality. In this role, the BPC leads process design and participates on project migrations and implementation teams in process improvement activities. You may diagnose process improvement opportunities and develop solutions using principles of process excellence, project management, and related tools.
 
This group handles migrations and implementations of applications and system initiatives and will work to define and improve processes while working closely to support project management leaders with project related tasks. 
 
Primary Responsibilities:

Anticipates customer needs and proactively develops solutions to meet them
Serves as a key resource on complex and/or critical issues
Solves complex problems and develops innovative solutions
Performs complex conceptual analyses
Reviews work performed by others and provides recommendations for improvement
Forecasts and plans resource requirements
Authorizes deviations from standards
May lead functional or segment teams or projects
Provides explanations and information to others on the most complex issues
Motivates and inspires other team members

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from accredited institution
3+ years in a business analysis/business process or operations role
1+ years of experience facilitating project requirements development
3+ years of experience in any call/contact center field
3+ years of experience working with project management principals and teams
Ability to break down complex tasks into actionable pieces
Ability to influence others to align their actions with core objectives
Ability to be self-motivated and work independently
Professional demeanor, comfortable in senior leadership facing role
Strong communication skills
Intermediate proficiency with MS PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, Word
Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree
2+ years of experience working with one or more of UHG's core operations
2+ years of experience in healthcare related field
