Proactively gathers and analyzes data to position UnitedHealthcare and consult with customers including collection and analysis of a customer's plan performance.
Collaborate with Solutions Engineer and SAE to prepare customer specific consultation packages.
Develop and present meinginful presentations to clients and broker/consultants to help them indentify trends in their finacial and clinical performance, and artciulate solutions using our vaule proposition as a guide.
Negotiate with internal and exernal partners.
Partner with new business Account Executives to develop finalist meetings and custom presentations to win new business.
Ad hoc reporting for customers.
Conducting data analysis, setting parameters, working with Underwriting, ordering reports and coordinating report distribution for the customers.
Preparation and coordination of renewal activities including block calls, data collection and analysis, preparation of renewal letters, stop loss vendor reporting, and Medicare D reporting.
Maintaining accurate information in the Customer Relationship Database (Atlas) for SAE/Field AM and Strategic Customer Business Plan.
Collaborate with SAE to create and maintain a book of business analysis.
Collaborate on Requests For Proposal and NBEA.
Review of RFP responses for accuracy and coordinate all processes regarding the RFP process.
Create and maintain a Customer Scorecard that aggregates customer information including trends, my uhc adoption and improvement opportunities, obtain information from Field Account Manager for service components.
Facilitate issuance and signing of FI/ASO contracts ensuring quality of information, obtaining customer approval, acting as a liaison between the customer and legal, and supporting the process for non standard plan components.
Lead/Facilitate Strategic Customer Team meetings as warranted.
Serve as point person to the customer regarding communication of various UHG/UHC process or program changes.
Supports SAE in Project management 3rd party audits including claims and Medicare for the SAE as needed.
Provides continuity in customer relationship through any types of book of business transitions.
Ability to demonstrate strong project management skills utilized in previous positions.

Travel 30% of the time (domestic)
Manages ongoing contract relationships and service delivery to clients for one or more accounts. Acts as outward-facing, dedicated resource for assigned accounts, typically with direct client contact (not call center) and large or complex accounts. Builds relationships with employer/group clients (not individual members) and serves as the primary point of contact for overall and day-to-day service delivery. Represents client internally and coordinates with other functions to implement client systems, complete projects, and address ongoing service needs. This function includes employees who are in dedicated on-site service roles. Jobs in this function may work closely with sales on renewals and upselling, but incumbents do not have specific sales goal accountability or primary responsibility to close sales. Account management jobs focused primarily on relationship and service management belong in this family; jobs with significant sales responsibilities or sales-related incentives (including 'OTH' plans) belong in a sales band.

Generally work is self-directed and not prescribed.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Undergraduate Degree or 2 years of Account Data Analysis and Client Facing Presentation experience within the Insurance Industry
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Possession of State Mandated Insurance Certifications or the ability to obtain such within 60 days of employment with UnitedHealth Group (Producer Insurance License)
Preferred Qualifications:

Some Healthcare, Insurance, or Consulting Internship experience preferred 
Previous experience with Strategic Business Plan Development, preferred
