Sodexo Education - Schools Business Segment has an opportunity for a strong and seasoned Operation Manager within k12 market to assist the Area General Manager in leading a new account on the beautiful eastern shore of Maryland .
The ideal candidate would possess both operational and nutritional experience with prior schools experience.
Must be highly energetic and engaged in driving customer participation growth and work daily to insure the highest level of customer service excellence.
The successful candidate should have strong skills in customer relationships, menu development, procurement, marketing, promotions, food presentation, safety and quality control and system implementation, high level employee development and training skills and be able to work independently to create a best in class program.

Assumes General Manager's (GM) responsibilities and authority in his/her absence in complex multi-functional accounts. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Responsible for financial/Human Resources (HR) functions. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
