The Database Services (DBS) Center of Excellence provides strategy, consulting, design, delivery and support of OLTP and decision support databases for the insurance, care delivery, hospital operations and corporate services organizations using a number of database management system technologies and tools. DBS helps KP benefit from it's investment in information technology by reducing the cost and time to implement new capabilities, enabling effective and efficient use of data.

Essential Functions:

* Contributing Database Service to a designated project or initiative to meet a KP business objective.

* Report development and analytics.

* Oracle/SQL Server/ Mysql Database administration Tasks - planning, execution, and measurement.

* Learning new applications needed to complete assignments or support the execution of business objectives.

* Job shadowing in other database functional areas.

* Performing additional duties as required.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience

Education

* Bachelor's degree required.

* Pursuing a graduate degree or have completed a graduate program from an accredited university within the last year.

Additional Requirements:

* Aptitude to perform data and process analytics and formulating solutions

* Proven ability to build effective working relationships as well as strong interpersonal skills

* Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

* 3.0 GPA or above.

* Experience with Oracle or SQL Server Databases.
