Position Overview: To provide a clean and safe kitchen area for our staff. To wash and clean all plate ware, pots, pans and cooking equipment and keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized. Work as a member of team to provide exemplary customer service. Communicate professionally and respectfully. Maintain an organized, sanitary and safe work space.



Qualifications:




  • One year of experience preferred.

  • Excellent attendance and punctuality required; schedule flexibility determined by business needs.

  • Able to follow directions.

  • Take responsibility for duties assigned and complete them with accuracy.

  • Commitment to quality service.

  • Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures.

  • Must be able speak, read and understand basic directions.

  • Must be able to hear with 100% accuracy.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.



Skills/Aptitudes:




  • Able to work in a high-energy and demanding environment.

  • Works well under pressure.

  • Able to identify and properly address problems with equipment and work environment.

  • Able to take direction.

  • Able to learn and follow work guidelines based on Health Department, OSHA and ADA regulations.

  • Able to learn the proper use and safety requirements of all kitchen equipment.

  • Must have or obtain a Food Handler's Card.

  • Must be able to maintain a high level of sanitation & cleanliness in areas.
