PER DIEM/ON CALL THERAPIST

Therapists provide clinical services to patients in the Residential Treatment Program. Therapists make assessments, create treatment plans, serve as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team and document in the patient chart interactions with patients and family as well as the patient's progress toward reaching treatment goals. Therapist also engage in discharge planning activities. The therapist provides group, individual and family therapy activities and collaborates with community providers, social service agencies and other therapeutic programs. Therapists are called upon to perform crisis intervention and to address hostile behaviors in accordance with facility approved interventions.

EDUCATION: Masters degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or similar field. Will be required to submit official transcripts at the time of interview.

EXPERIENCE: A minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health treatment setting. DBT training a plus. Bi-lingual preferred.

LICENSURE: Must possess licensure as an LCSW or Marriage and Family Therapist. Will be required to submit evidence of licensure at the time of interview. Intern licensure may be accepted.

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
