Providence is calling an Administrative Assistant (Emergency Services, Day Shift, .90 FTE) to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, WA.

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual who enjoys customer interactions and multi-tasking to provide administrative support.

In this position you will:

Create a friendly and cooperative atmosphere for visitors, hospital personnel and medical staff members.

Respond to inquiries; maintain documents, patient files and data base records.

Type correspondence and other material.

Arrange meetings and appointments.

Required qualifications for this position include:

High School diploma or equivalent. Exceptional customer service skills. Ability to create a friendly and cooperative atmosphere for visitors, hospital personnel and medical staff members.

Ability to read, write and verbally communicate in English. Accurate typing/keyboarding skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

Previous administrative experience. Medical terminology.
