ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In building relationships with customers, must be able to anticipate needs of guests and execute in a timely fashion. This includes arranging for concert tickets, airline reservations, ground transportation, and dining reservations as needed. Partners with culinary team to ensure coordinated work flow of food offerings while ensuring quality of product displayed. Performs the service of replenishing bar stock, lounge upkeep, and assisting with any food issues. This position will work with the bar to facilitate the smooth flow of service to customers by the Bartender/Server. It is also responsible for cleaning tables and ensuring condiments are stocked. Checks and maintains the required par levels and maintains cleanliness on assigned station Obtains replacement stock from the warehouse inventory in accordance with established procedures Assists bartender in providing maximum efficiency and service levels by retrieving guests special requests, and during busy times icing drink glasses and pouring non-alcoholic drinks. Operates POS System and maintains integrity of all financial controls and responsibilities. Must be knowledgeable of Iowa property and community offerings and events/activities. Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information at all times. Keeps all areas clean in accordance with established health and safety standards. Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma, GED or comparable experience preferred. Previous customer service experience in a high volume operation preferred. Six months experience in one Casino Player Club preferred. (Total Rewards). Read, write, speak and understand English. Excellent customer service/communication skills over the phone and in person are vital Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy. Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodation. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Must be able to push or pull 50 lbs. (Tables and chairs as required to provide appropriate seating requirements for customers) Must be able to reach above and below the shoulder, grip small items (i.e., flatware, plates, cups, glasses), bend, stoop and twist while carrying restaurant stock to and from supply areas; able to reach across tables; able to stand and walk for up to four hours; able to use hand motions when cleaning and wiping menus and table tops Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues Must be able to tolerate industry standard chemicals used for cleaning and sanitizing. Must be able to maintain a neat, well-groomed, professional appearance and uphold the company appearance standards Maintains positive communication with co-workers on all levels and works as a team. Follows all necessary safety procedures including Blood Borne Pathogens and Personal Protective Equipment. Must be able to identify and report safety concerns or maintenance deficiencies for proper handling. Adheres to departmental and company policies. Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
