As a Sales Manager at Life Time, you are responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a team of Account Managers who will inspire, guide and help our members achieve their health and fitness goals by encouraging their involvement through our best-in-class people, places and programs.

In this role, you will utilize your ability to hire, support and retain driven professionals focused on building long-term, value-based member relationships that enable achievement of acquisition and retention goals. You will also create, maintain, and execute the Sales Department business plans and adjust as needed to deliver results at or above company expectations in member acquisition & retention.

Duties & Responsibilities

Member Experience

* Proactively build and develop relationships with new and existing members by providing premiere customer service; showing care for all members, team members and club presentation. Setting the overall example for your Account Manager team

* Collaborate with leaders in other departments to ensure maximum member engagement and connection to the people and the club

Sales & Promotion

* Demonstrate personal sales leadership and success by achieving and exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly acquisition and retention goals through persistent and enthusiastic outreach

* Leverage company marketing strategy to initiate, develop and grow relationships with new and current members

Financial & Budgetary

* Monitor revenue and unit totals daily to ensure Account Managers are achieving or exceeding individual and team goals

Managerial & Supervisory

* Coach Account Managers through role-playing and shadowing club tours, giving them tools to improve and develop stronger sales and customer service skills; assure compliance with all club and departmental standard operating procedures

* Meet daily with Account Managers one-on-one to review weekly and monthly sales and unit goals, assess individual performance, and review individual business plans

* Actively recruit top talent through partnerships and prospecting to continuously grow your team of Account Managers

* Assures high quality customer service skills and compliance with all club and departmental standard operating procedures

Education & Experience

* Four Year College Degree preferred

* Polished and professional appearance

* Minimum of 3-5 years of sales leadership and management experience required

* Proven experience hiring, supporting and retaining top performing sales or account management professionals

* Proven track record in leading teams to achieve sales goals in a fast paced and competitive environment

* Competitive drive to succeed in a performance based culture

* Personal passion and commitment for living a healthy way of life

* Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

* Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM preferred

Licenses / Certifications / Registrations

* Completion of Life Time University Account Manager Certification

* Completion of Life Time University Sales Manager Certification once hired

* Completion of Life Time University Leadership Certification once hired
