Sodexo is seeking a Catering Manager 3 for Temple University located in Philadelphia and Ambler, PA.

Responsible for providing business excellence which supports the existing and prospective client base on the campus and include multiple operational functions to support and to maintain compliance within the client contract. Manage the sales efforts (retail and catering sales), pricing, quality services, safety accountability, labor practices, account and staffing needs and requests. Provides leadership and training on operational subject matters and supervises a team of operational positions.

Position Summary

Manages all catered events. Hires, schedules, and trains catering staff. Works with clients/customers to arrange and follow through on all catering details and to ensure all special requests are met. Directs setup for events. Responsible for pricing, billing and resolving customer complaints. Develops menu/costing.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED

Basic Management Experience - 2 years

Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.

Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
