The L.A.W. General Manager oversees all facets of the restaurant. The manager must maintain and control a high level of guest service. This is achieved by ensuring consistent and thoughtful service, demonstrated by the restaurant staff, and close collaboration with the Restaurant Chef. The manager is also responsible for the hiring, training, supervising, and disciplining of the staff. The ability to be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts. The L.A.W. General Manager will also be responsible for the successful bookings of the Private Dining Rooms, creative promotions communicated through website, social media, and OpenTable, maintain and update content of website and OpenTable i.e. current menus, updates, promotions, etc. The L.A.W. General Manager will also work closely with the Assistant Director of Food and Beverage and Director of PR on social media channels.

Requirements:

Education: College degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management or equivalent experience is required.

Experience: 2 years previous General Manager or Senior Restaurant Management Experience Required. Minimum of 5 years experience in high volume Restaurant Field. Extensive knowledge of Food and Beverage products required.

Skills and Abilities: Requires a working knowledge of division operations as well as Four Seasons cultural and core standards, policies, and standard operating procedures. Working knowledge is generally learned on-the-job.

Knowledge of food & beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting.

Requires ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems.

Candidates must have valid work authorization for the U.S.
