Restaurant Managers/Event Coordinator Internship - Full-time / Part-time

This Position is located in Okoboji, IA, at out Bracco and Waterfront Event Center restaurants.

We have 2 free standing buildings that offer a wide variety of hospitality experiences.  First, we have Bracco World Cafe and Island Bar which will be in it’s 9th summer on East Lake, Okoboji.  This restaurant is a summertime hotspot with seating for over 400 guest with a beautiful view of the lake and a beach bar with live music and entertainment Wednesday through Sunday. We also have an outside swim up pool bar and the Crazy Parrot Cantina inside the indoor water park that serves drinks and food to the waterpark guest. Next, we are building a brand NEW WaterFront Event Center.  This event center can seat up to 400 guest for a wedding.  We have a beautiful gazebo that is basically right on the water!  Our event room has the ability to be broken down into 5 smaller rooms with our air wall system to accommodate business conferences and other events.  We also have, a Steakhouse/Seafood restaurant and a Flatbread Pizza Company all under one roof.  We have an outside patio area that seats over 200 guest and seating on the inside for over 100 guest.

POSITION SUMMARY:

• Work 50+ hours including early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays
• Available to work from May to late August
• Applicants must be able to lift 50Ibs and able to perform manual labor as an essential function of this role
• Coordinate and communicate with team leads, and perform duties as assigned
• Ability to work with moderate-level supervision on multiple tasks: Must be a self-starter who can work independently
• Our Managers promote excellence by providing superior customer service and are responsible for staffing, scheduling, financial goals and staff development.
• Managers will be responsible for daily operations of the restaurant, including restaurant appearance and presentation, customer experience, professional leadership and direction to all employees.
