Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Services / Housekeeping Manager 1 for Vidant Edgecombe Hospital is apart of the Vidant Health System of Taraboro, NC . 117 bed community hospital in Tarboro North Carolina. It is a teaching hospital, partnered with East Carolina University. It is a medium facility and would be responsible for evening and night shift staff which is a total of 13 employees. In this role, you will be responsible for the following (including but not limited to) quality assurance inspections, staff training, payroll, scheduling, rounding, patient / customer satisfaction, and safety audits. The best qualified candidate will have Environmental Services technical operations experience and knowledge. Custodial or housekeeping experience in a hospital or healthcare environment is desired.
The ideal candidate will have previous custodial/housekeeping management experience in a healthcare environment; familiarity with EPIC systems, floor care, TRAKKAR strong management skills for directing daily operations, ensuring program and regulatory compliance, and controlling costs with solid floor care/project management ability to include a customer focus, the ability to communicate effectively, and a sense of urgency.
This position is currently scheduled as second shift position .
