General Job Description:

The primary responsibilities of the Business Process Analyst are to plan, design and implement business processes for our Specialty pharmacy business operations . The Business Process Analyst is the subject matter expert and liaison among the Operations, Clinical, IT, Product and Project Management teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive:

1. Manage projects to support the Specialty pharmacy segment operations

2. Design and maintain business processes through process flow mapping, documentation and training

3. Review project and process requirements, tests, quality and training plans to ensure they are in line with business objectives

4. Work as a liaison among multiple stakeholders to drive and prioritize business process requirements

5. Gather, analyze and present data for process design and process improvement initiatives

6. Create contingency plans for critical business processes

7. Work closely with IT and end users to ensure that current and future business processes are compatible with current applications

8. Manage the Process Change Management program

9. Develop the structure and process by which we house, prioritize and execute process improvement projects

10. Create and maintain process documentation such as Job Aids, SOPs, process flows

11. Support Operations by identifying and establishing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreement (SLAs)

12. Create and maintain reports in order to support business operations and segment strategies

13. Prepare and execute user acceptance test plans required for software releases

14. Perform production validation for system configuration changes and clinical protocols

15. Travel Requirements: Up to 25%

The shining star in this role should have:

Bachelor's degree in related field required

Minimum of two years of experience required

Experience designing and implementing business processes with an emphasis on virtual transactions required

Knowledge of healthcare pharmacy processes strongly preferred

Advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, MS Visio and MS Outlook strongly preferred

Project management experience preferred
