The Role

The Head of Process Engineering and Execution is responsible for identification, development and implementation of industry leading strategies for both near term and long-range retooling of the mortgage business. Key areas of emphasis include taking an innovative, broad and creative approach to analyzing industry opportunities and challenges. The successful leader will translate strategic insights into pragmatic solutions to most effectively serve customers and clients. These strategies will emphasize an end to end view including culture, workflow, technology systems and applications.

The senior leader will manage strategic initiatives to maximize profitability; review and analyze market opportunities, competitive dynamics, as well as business, technology and operating trends. The role will collaborate with the management team to develop, support and guide strategy, identification of key priorities and make decisions in pursuit of overall business outcomes. Leads process innovation and execution from end to end. Responsible for overall management of successful implementation and execution.

Specifically this leader will be responsible for:

Leading innovation and development of key strategies to develop process improvements in collaboration with the business. End goal will be industry leading capabilities that will simplify and enhance our customer's experience, drive operational excellence and manage operational risks at reduced cost. Analyzing service standards, markets, customer trends, and strategy enhancements across the organization from end to end. Develop and grow engineering skills and disciplines across the organization making process design and ownership core strength of the business. Distills complex concepts into pragmatic and simplified solutions from end to end to drive superior customer and client results. Leveraging technology solutions including identification of system requirements and testing input on system design, prioritization of system enhancements, as well as broad deployment of functionality. Analyzing approach, culture, quality, relationships, operations, and/or capabilities within the existing organization and leads the work needed to address gaps. Serves as primary change leader for assigned initiatives, ensuring solutions are designed, integrated, measured and governed to improve effectiveness, limit risk exposure and create efficiencies as appropriate. Responsible for change adoption. Facilitating decisions to accomplish business goals including funding, deployment and resource allocation. Ensure real time monitoring regimes are in place for processes and exposures including appropriate feedback loops. The Production Business Process and Execution Leader will be responsible for leading and managing team that supports areas of Business Process and Execution. The Candidate

Required Qualifications

10+ years of management or supervisory experience 10+ years of operations environment experience 5+ years of experience developing and implementing strategic initiatives including the development of transformational process initiatives

Other Desired Qualifications

A seasoned executive with at least 10+ years of increasing responsibility in financial services or allied industries holding leadership positions with emphasis in the following areas: innovation, technology, strategy, process improvement, operations and implementation. Business process and technology leadership exposure with program and project management and leadership experience leading large and complex projects and change initiatives within a highly matrixed environment. Demonstrated business strategic planning and execution leadership experience ensuring the organization, at all levels is aligned with the vision and objectives. At least 10+ year's management experience leading teams in a large, highly matrixed institution. Proven success achieving objectives requiring a high level of cooperation from people in other parts of the organization. Strong ability to identify potential industry challenges and opportunities in order to translate those insights to implement sustainable solutions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present complex ideas in a straight forward and understandable manner. Strong partnership/collaboration skills. Solid expertise and experience in utilizing project management, process reengineering and operational excellence tools: Six Sigma & Lean or other reengineering disciplines. Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree preferred. Mortgage or Financial Services experience preferred; however allied industries will be fully considered. Experience implementing large scale strategies across multiple lines of business Beyond experience, the right personal style and attitude are critical to success in this role.

Job Expectations
