The Midwest Region of Otis Elevator offers internship opportunities to motivated self-starters with excellent communication skills who are interested in a future sales career in the elevator industry.
This is a paid internship position ranging from 20 -- 40 hours/week. The intern will assist & support our service sales departments in generating new business. The elevator service market is constantly growing and the chosen candidate will help ensure that we capitalize on current market conditions. Other projects related to core branch functions including project management, audit readiness, finance, or sales, may be included depending on the interns' skills and experience.
The primary responsibilities of this position will be contacting new customers to promote services of Otis Elevator, obtaining expiration dates on existing contracts of potential customers, setting up sales appointments to generate new sales, and assisting the sales department in closing sales. Additionally, the selected candidate will have the opportunity to learn, grow and develop in the organization of Otis Elevator, the worldwide leader in elevator maintenance, modernization, and installation services.
Internships are available throughout the Midwest. Candidates should be geographically mobile and location flexible to help ensure a fit can be made between individual preference and business necessity/requirements.
* This internship will be based in Michigan, Ohio, or Indiana.
