q Experience as a transformational Business Partner (position will be assigned to key RCM Leadership Teams (i.e. PFSS / Billing Ops)
q Experience crafting effective monthly story telling materials
Performance Decks (Month End / Mid-Month)
Financial Management Materials (Hits & Misses / KPIs)
q Experience Budgeting & Forecasting (Healthcare Accounts Receivable Forecasting is a plus)
q Experience with Capital & Strategic Planning
q Experience with Business Plan Modeling (to include staffing plans / performance improvement projects)
q Experience with Customer based Ad Hoc Reporting Requests
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (experience using pivot tables, external data connections, and Visual Basic for Applications).
- Intermediate Microsoft Access skills (external data connections, query design, macro process automation).
- Basic Micrsoft SQL Server skills (using query designer to create or modify existing queries, use of temporary tables, understanding of relational databases) a plus.
- Data Visualization / Dashboarding tools such as Tableau, MicroStrategy, Business Objects a plus.
- Experience in using Cleveland Clinic Financial Reporting Systems and datamarts such as VisiQuate, Reveneu Cycle Datamart, DDWMart, FlashMart, GLMart, EPSi, or Lawson a plus.
Candidates considered will be required to complete the following assessments: Microsoft Excel 2010 Power User, Microsoft Access 2010 and SQL Entry Level
JOB SUMMARY : Provides Financial or Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) data analysis, metrics and standard/ad hoc reporting to support the needs of the enterprise. Also may include responsibility for complex general ledger reconciliations, expense analysis and/or chargemaster.Prepares, analyzes and communicates key financial information and provides support to management and other staff members regarding financial reporting and other issues. Assists with budget preparation and financial planning processes. Assists with budget review for compliance and opportunities. Serves as consultant to all levels of management to provide decision support for initiatives, policies and procedures. Performs special projects and duties as assigned, including necessary research, forecasting and conflict resolution. Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, Business or related field. Master's degree preferred.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification preferred.
COMPLEXITY OF WORK: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Minimum of four years finance, revenue cycle management or general analytical experience. Healthcare experience preferred. Master's degree may offset some required experience. Ability to complete sophisticated analytical, consultative and information support through analysis and report preparation. Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving skills, decisive judgment and the ability to lead projects and people. Strong understanding of complex key performance indicators, cash flow analysis, product line analysis and proposal development.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Manual dexterity sufficient to operate computer. Ability to lift and transport up to 25 pounds. May require extended periods of standing, walking or sitting. Good visual acuity through normal or corrected vision.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT: Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
