Position Purpose:
Mechanics work to support fruit receiving, juice extraction, and by products. Mechanics will accomplish this through assuring necessary and related equipment operation. Mechanics perform multi-functions, muti-tasks with various levels and breadth of technology.
This job is not limited to the following primary job duties.
Additional duties may be preformed as required.
Principle
Accountabilities :
Mechanics must be able to maintain a safe and clean work area while working in a fast paced work environment. Mechanics will assure the continued operation of equipment through performing preventive maintenance, corrective, and emergency breakdown work orders. Mechanics will need to be good communicators and treat all with respect. Mechanics must be capable or ensuring finished products meet quality specifications. Mechanics will follow all Plant and Departmental Rules. Mechanics must be willing to travel and work flexible hours with in the scope of union agreement.
Primary Job Duties:
Perform troubleshooting on equipment.
Evaluate machine condition and repair as required.
Perform sanitary and arc welds and flame cut.
Have a knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, conveyance fluid transmission systems
Ability to read and comprehend manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Assume the role as technical support to operators.
Assist in assuring the completeness of equipment bill of materials.
Attend business meetings and other communication functions.
Utilize software including but not limited to SAP, Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook.
Adhere to all plant and department safety rules
Return area to level GMP level of cleanliness after equipment repair
